I profiled a 7500 [no rip] with pigmented inks, the gamut was a
fair bit less than with the regular Epson inks.
I think a 7500 I did with Lyson Fotonic inks had a bigger gamut,
actually.

noticeably lower but not unusable - put the two next to each other
though and you'll se a big difference.

you can certainly put A4 thru a 7000. I've done it lots.
you might get a deal, I heard Epson are getting rid of them -
quietly. [But I've not managed to get one yet]
