So you can use Photoshop to inspect the blackgeneration for
different profiles for your proofmedia.
As for checking the black generation, an ICC profile is an ICC
profile. So it's as visible in Linocolor as in Photoshop.
Pshop uses the internal profile name in the description tag while
Linocolor uses the Finder name. The internal name in the description
tag is where the linearisation string is written by BESTColor. So the
trick is finding the BESTColor profile you want in Pshop menus which
show the internal BEST data string and not the Finder/Explorer name.
If you use ColorThink to find the internal name for the profile you
want to check, don't pay attention to Steve's flag that asks you to
overwrite the internal name with the Finder name -:).
