This usually indecates profiles that do not proof well, or a poor monitor
calibration.

Because the profile in question does not offer absolute colorimetric

Epson's profiles are intended for use within the Epson drivers, not in Photos
hop, where they do not give the expected results...

This will be a problem for many users who never expected much from the return
tables in their profiles before Photoshop 6... not all profiling software has
there difficulties, however; and I would expect those that do to move in the
direction of improving them.
