I'm looking for a standalone batch-oriented app that can take drag n'
dropped (drug n' dropped?) PDF 1.2 containing RGB images and convert to
CMYK
preferably using an ICC profile. I know Pitstop will do the conversion but
I
need something that'll do it unattended, like ICC Autoflow (which doesn't
do
PDF, only PS and EPS otherwise my problem wouldn't be).
David,
For your information, we've just released a new color management software
called "ColourServer PDF" for PDF color management with ICC profiles.
It is a Mac server that receive the ps file form Acrobat , make color
management of every elements (raster images and vectors) FROM any
Grayscale, RGB, CMYK, Spot colors Input color space TO any Grayscale, RGB,
or CMYK output color space, with the ability to simulate a 3rd color space
(Grayscale, RGB, CMYK, and 5-6-7 or 8 color profile).
The output can be sent to Distiller to create PDF OR directly to color
proofer for digital proofing.
There is also an option for specific color conversions through a LUT (Look
Up Table).
Hope this could help you!
