I have calabrated a mitsubishi moniter with the Lacie Blue eye colorimiter,
which is an oem from seque.
I am using the special 2 way flux cabel from the moniter to a G4. How can I
refine my Color being displayed on the moniter? My HL and 1/4 tones seem
slighty week and shadow detailis slightly heavy. In photoshop 5.5 what should
my RGB setup look like? Can I use my CMYK setup to get me closer? Can I use a
custom Dot gain curve to get me closer? If I change any of these it it going
to help my color in other Apps? What about photshop 6?
Also, I have a Phaseone digital canera and it requires me to use a Moniter set
of 1.8. What is the best way to veiw the color in Light Phase, (cameras
software), so it matches both versions of Photoshop?
What is the best way to create custom profies for the digital camers? I need
to edit them for product
matches. Can I take reading of the products colors, (swimsuits, dress, shirts,
ect.) and apply them to a profile to get a good match when converting from RGB
to CMYK?
Thanks for your help!!!
