I'd never had any experience of Absolute rendering intent -- it's not
something that we would usually consider when we separate to CMYK, but we do
like to experiment :-)

SHOULD yes, so why doesn't the Apple CMM or the Apple ColorSync CMM produce
any dot at all? And why do the dots produced by the Adobe and Heidelberg
CMMs differ?
