After asking the list for suggestions or PS RIPs I have been looking into the
BestColor Designer Edition. I have downloaded their manual and read it but one
question remains before we spend our money and give it a try: The manual
states that liniarzation files can be modified for use with other custom made
profiles but tells very little how this modification is done. Is there a
target that can be printed out for each color and then read back in with a
measureing device such as the X-Rite DTP-22? Also does anyone know where I can
buy BestColor DE and Best Paper on-line? I need to order deliverable to a US
address that will then forward it to me overseas.
