How does the built in Calibration on the Apple 17" Studio Display effect
the ability to use third party calibration such as ColorVision's Spyder?

Without third party calibration, how does the calibration on the Apple 17"
Studio Display cmpare by itself?

I know the newer Apple 17" Studio Displays have combined the brightness and
contrast into one control they label "contrast."
