InDesign is good for working on single spreads, but it's still way
too slow for much more than that
It drives me nuts that there is no filter to distinguish the color
model of 'images', so each CMYK image calls for a trip down into the
Image Color Settings dialog to reset the intent to Relative
Colorimetric, while Lab and RGB work with the default Perceptual
intent assigned to the data type 'image'.
But for a couple of other things, I like it. It's not as fast as
QuarkXPress at letting go when you print, for instance.
Gertie the G3 retired after she lost some of her memory, and her
replacement doesn't seem bothered by InDesign, though maybe by ADB
dongles and USB drivers -:).
