With CTP you have the problem on how to create the profile and how to check
the press.
Without film you can't see moirh, trapping, overprint, and you can't see if
your separations is good before to print the job on the press.
I suggest to use profile as separation mode, but to check the separation
with a contractual proofer like Kodak Approval, an halftone digital proofing
system. In this manner you can check the proof to see moirh, trapping and
other things (like color, densities, Pantone color etc...) before that you
put yours job on the press.
