ICC profile naming

I am interested in any input related to problems with profile naming. I am
looking for information related to number of characters, spacing problems,
extensions, etc.
The current plan is to use no more than 32 characters including an .icc
extension. Any spacing will use an underscore (_).

Comments from this group's experience for the most cross platform, least
problematic profile naming would be appreciated.
