You have to linearise with InkAssistant. This reduces your channel ink
limits. This can be in the range of 40% for CMY and 50-60% K. Save the
InkAssistant file as a .cmy. This becomes your linearisation table to load
when printing out the test chart for profiling. If you use just the paper
profile what you're not seeing is that the paper profile loads (invisible
and automatically) the accompanying lin table created on a PC with Profile
Keeper. Any changes to this file combo will break the ties rendering your
inking at 400%.

No, it's the obscure methodology that Best chooses for profiling.
