Okay, I replied offline to Adrianno, but for the benefit of others
wondering about these error codes...
<A7> just relates a compound error state (Hexidecimal you know).
If you type an xe, this will list and clear any errors
The most common errors are:
<28> needs calibration (calibrate and this should go away) You can make
sure calibration works properly by doing this in the terminal window.
Insert the strip and use a CU command to start the calibration process.
If it returns a <00> then it has calibrated successfully.
<27> Bad read (this is a really generic message, and it just means do
it again)
<21> Is a time-out error. (this just means the process did not execute
in the time expected- another really generic message)
