You could find a specialised glass dealer who could cut you an equivalent
anti-Newton for much , much less than that. If it's still too expensive a
normal glass should work, the calibration bars should take out the green
cast (the anti-Newton is somewhat less green as it's made with a contaminate
float of PbAc lead acetate to clear out the metal oxides).
Also try Microtek as their 6000 model is exactly the same as the Scitex Jaz.
