Apple ColorSync uses the CMM specified in the ColorSync control panel, which may or may not be the Apple CMM.

Now I am curious.

How do profiles become available in the colorsync control panel?

My Colorsync version (2.6.1) only has Heidelberg CMM or Automatic as a choice. What does Automatic do?
