(1) Yes.
(2) 2-3 edits usually gets me there.
And I'll ask a THIRD question:
What are you needing to edit in the profile(s)? Gradation (tone curve), gray
balance, selective colors, what?
I'll answer my own question and say it's PRIMARILY for gray balance. The
rest seems to fall in place once overall gray balance is tweaked.
I'd also have to add that 80-90% of the profiles I'm building are for
prepress proofing. The rest are digicam and scanner profiles.
