Illustrator 10.0.1 allows me as expected to assign CMYK profiles to CMYK
documents. However, when in a print pane and printing to a Phaser 850 DP,
only the RGB profiles appear. Only the usual RGB working spaces, RGB printer
profiles (for my RGB printers and others), and display profiles. No CMYK
profiles.

Any remedies or do we have to wait for Adobe.Apple.Whoever to fix this?
I've seen this happen when printing directly from Mac to HP and Epson
printers... my thinking was that, since the PPD has spec'ed the printer as
an RGB device, the print dialog was omitting all CMYK profiles as
selections. In the same way, if you select a CMYK printer in the Chooser,
only CMYK profiles should appear. I routinely run two sets of profiles for
our in-house printers... one in RGB for direct printing and one using the
Onyx-supplied CMYK-based Epson and HP PPDs for printing via PosterShop.
Colors tend to be much more on target printing through Onyx, but saturated
colors come through more in RGB (which is what some of our customers tend to
want, anyway).
