Hi Adriano,
just tested the scenario as follows:
1. created a dot gain curve which consists of only one row: Wanted 50%,
Measured 100%. Saved this curve.
2. printed a test file (5-100% patches of C/M/Y/K respectively) to the
Newage server's file pool.
3. created a new montage, placed the test file, output to proofer with the
new dot gain curve activated (does not work when selecting "downsample IM
bitmap for proof").
The resulting output is perfectly (or so:-) reduced in total density.
