I can't really answer your question whether a +50/-50 Sat move will get you
back to the same place but I can tell you what I do as far as profile
editing:
I ALWAYS keep the original profile and save my edits. If I'm making several
rounds of edits, I always go back to the original profile, tweak/save the
new/additional edits and save the new profile. In the end I'll have a
"master" edit file plus the original profile. My assumption is that if I
ever need to remake the profile because of printer drift or whatever, I'll
probably have to apply the same sort of profile correction that I did the
first time the profile was made. Having a master edit file makes this
simple.
