Epson printer? I found that using the driver set to either Automatic (plus 1
brightness and saved to lock that down) OR PhotoRealistic is a good staring
point. You get reduced gamut compared to "No Color Adjustment" (not a
problem in this case) but you don't get such heavy ink coverage compared
NCA. I haven't messed with ColorBlind in a long time but I'd suggest you do
a linearization process and output as many patches as you feel comfortable
measuring.
I've been using a soon to be released extended RGB target for ProfileMaker
Pro (900 patches) to Epson 9600's with pretty impressive B&W results.
