This probably comes out the same but...
I have a photoshop file embedded with a custom profile 4c that a customer
uses. (really several customers with several custom profiles).
Should I extract the profile to use in my rip or convert to RGB space like
Best or Adobe in PS and send it to the rip this way. My rip alrady has these
in its list. This is going to inkjet with Postershop rip. Opinions?
I take door number two and I alternate between BestRGB and AdobeRGB as well.
But I also then convert to my inkjet output profile in PS if I am
looking for color accuracy. For straight image workflow I find PS
with black point compensation in a postscript workflow renders more
pleasing and predictable results than letting the RIP convert.
