Many thanks for your input, C. David.
The reason I began this thread was because in
searching the archives I came upon a few posts noting
UV issues with the Eye-One, including your Dec. 3,
2001, post. The following is an excerpt from that
post:
"Some of this depends on the software you are using it
with, but for my own use with third party software,
I'd say they [the SpectroCam and Eye-One units] are
comparable in time as wel as in results, except for
the UV issues with the EyeOne (identical to what you
are now seeing with your nonUV DTP41).... The
SpectroCam UV has the upper hand for fluorescence
issues, at least until an EyeOne UV appears. Pretty
close match all 'round... hard to say which one will
get the vote now that they are competing on features,
not legal grounds."
Are these UV issues to which you referred in the post
still present, or would you agree with Terry Wyse that
they been nearly eliminated the ProfileMaker 4.1
update?
