In its present form PMPro 4.1 does a fine job of detecting the problem and
allowing the user to decide upon whether they want to apply a fix or not.
The rendering intents options have also been modified/expanded to provide
even more flexibility.
It9s worth mentioning that Gretag also built the brightener detection
facility into i1Match although the user has no scope for disabling it. Again
the results appear to be pretty close to ideal with every profile I9ve
created
I9ve not yet found one instance were the application of the brightener fix
has resulted in less than optimal profiles.
