Neal,
It is my understanding, as well as experience with this issue, that one of
the reasons to go OS 10.2.3 was so that ProfileMaker 4.1.1 would function
without going to the terminal and jumping through technical hoops etc.
Since you are at OS 10.2.3 try removing the ProfileMaker 4.1 components and
then install ProfileMaker 4.1.1, then reboot and re-launch PM4.1.1 It should
work at that point.
