Applying an ICC profile?

Hi,

The last question I asked here was concerning
a reasonably priced profile "tweaking software"
and I thank everyone who replied. The problem
solved itself as I own a full version of Linocolor
and had never thought of using it in this way, but
hey, it works!

Next question...

I scan and retouch practically all my work in LAB
and produce CMYK separations using profiles.

I can be sure at least "my images" will look great on press
but worry about the rest of the page elements and the color
palettes in the programs into which my scans will be
eventually positioned. Without somehow loading the same
profiles as I use into these programs the colors will surely
remain uncorrected.

Is there maybe a list of how to apply ICC profiles in different
applications I can give to my customers as a "read me"
file along with the profile I've used for the seps?

thanks again

Barry
