Use ToolCrib or (another terminal app if you're game).
To configure for Density Status T measurement:
either select Status T in the ToolCrib Setup
or
type into the terminal:
0317cf
0018cf
To define a strip:
<nnn><pppp><gggg><t><c><tttt>ds
<nnn> - number of patches
<pppp> - patch size in millimeters with implied decimal point in the middle
<pppp> - gap size in millimeters with implied decimal point in the middle
<t> - Strip (0), Step wedge (1) for measuring dot area
<c> - color mode, n for dot color, or 8 for all others
<tttt> - trailer length (only include for transmissive mode)
Example:
21 patch Cyan strip. Each patch is 7mm with a 1mm gap
type into the terminal:
0210700010008ds
Put in your strip, hit the button.
Type ts to get the last measurement

By 21 step I mean, 0 - 100 in 5 percent increments.

Or, is there s/w that will let me create my own scale and have the DTP
