Hello everyone,
I'm new to the colorsync list, know very little about colorsync and I'm not
even sure if I'm in the right area. But I have a background color problem
printing from OS X. Many of my OS X native apps print a light yellow
background for some reason, when the background is just plain white. This
happens in GraphicConverter, Netscpe 6.2 and Word/OS X and other apps. In
GC, any white background in gifs becomes yellow, in Netscape white and grey
backgrounds (the grey was never printed in classic Netscape) becomes yellow
and in Word normal white background is printed white, but white background
in inserted pictures becomes yellow. Printing the same documents from
claasic apps works fine, so it's not in the documents. I've made all
colorsync and monitor settings in OS X similar to those in classic (those
in the colorsync and monitor control panels. are there any others?), but
still no luck.
The problem appears on both my dual-800 Quicksilver and a TiPowerBook, both
running 10.1.2. Does anyone have any clue what might cause this (and how to
fix it)? If this is a post to the wrong list, could someone direct me to
the list where this problem belongs please.
kind greets,
Peter
