Does anyone have any experience with Quark 5 and color management?
I have a profiled Epson 5000 and would like to print from Quark where
the image has an imbedded profile (specifically Ektaspace).
However, despite lots of fiddling with Quark 5 it does not recognize
the imbedded profile. I get good results if there is no profile or an
Apple monitor profile imbedded (actually I get the same results).
I spent about an hour with Quark tech support and they decided it was
a problem with Quark.
Doing the same exercise with Photoshop there are no problems.
This would be a big help since I have a whole book to print this way
and would like to do it from the actual RGB files that will be
converted to CMYK for the printing.
