There are a few of places where I see the clean-black profile doing very
good things:

1. Text. I don't think I really need to elaborate.
2. LBOs with black strokes. You know: lines, boxes and ovals.
3. Grayscale imagery within the document.

I don't know if I'd want to turn shadows and neutrals in a color image to
pure K, however. Seems I'd lose a lot in the translation.

A pure K profile would end up probably more useful in a PostScript workflow
(image setters, proofers, etc.), but that's where I spend 99% of my working
hours.
