Simple workflow with non-ICC suppliers

Greetings, o ye Omniscient ICC Oracles (have I grovelled enough yet?)

I am a humble photographer, who wishes to use a profiling tool to
interface with photo-enlargers and large-format print shops who do not
care about ICC.

I want to

1. give the print-shop a test pattern
2. Make a profile from this test pattern eg. with eyeone
3. Use that profile to give a "ready to print" corrected version of
my photo file to the print-shop.

Exactly how do I achieve point 3 above in Photoshop 6.0? Your comments on
the whole issue's feasibility are welcome of course.

Edmund
