Actually, printer profiles can be in more places than that. When a print
queue is created on X, the printer module gets to pass a list of built in
profiles to the OS. Typically, these profiles are buried in the printer
module bundle for the printer in question, and are not found in the normal
ColorSync folders.
For example, look in:
/Library/Printers/Epson/SC980.plugin/Contents/Resources/ICCProfiles
Or...
/Library/Printers/Canon/BJPrinter/Resources/Profiles
