Yes. I hope this message gets through to ADOBE! For 7.1 Please.
Full 16bit editing capabilities including alpha channel and gradient masks.
Otherwise why bother with our 16bit non-workflow archives?
At this point in Photoshop history from what I have seen 16bit is a wash.
All of our post processing now unfortunately has to get knocked down to 8
bit.
