This is something I've wanted to see since I started working with Photoshop
(v5...I know I'm a weenie). I learned a few workarounds from Jeff Schewe,
but they are still workarounds. I think a lot of people working in the fine
art industry (where the inkjet output is the final piece) would really
appreciate being able to do more work in the 16 bit world.

This would be great as well. Again, there are all sorts of tricks to get
Photoshop's USM to do fancier stuff, but it would be nice to see these
features built in to the program. Our scanner software does some pretty
hi-test USM...almost makes Adobe's look pretty basic. But then again,
Photoshop's USM featres are all that some people need.

How cool would this be?!

Most of us don't have the clout to have Adobe's ear on these issues. We can
only hope that they monitor this list (I've seen Thomas Knoll's name crop
up from time to time). I for one am looking forward to using Photoshop in
OS X.
