Good for profiling on the road, but what about the UV filter issue ?
It's what I use on the road these days as it's small, light and uses USB
(plus gets power from the USB). It does the work of 2 or three devices. I
haven't found any issues with UV since I've been using it and I've profiled
quite a few Epson's, Lightjet's and Fuji's, all of which seem to have the
the possibility of being the kinds of devices where UV might be an issue.
Also, from what I was told by GretagMacbeth, using a UV is actually not a
good idea for building profiles (it is useful for calibration/linearization)
but EyeOne Match or ProfileMaker doesn't require a two step process.

This seems to be the standard, and you can set it and walk away !
I have one too (a T) and love it. But it's not something I'd ever budge off
my desk, it's real slow but it's wonderful to set it and forget it (walk
away). It's also going to be a LOT more expensive than the EyeOne and still
uses Serial connection which isn't an issue if it's sitting hooked up to one
machine all the time. I have no experience with the ICColor devices so can't
comment.
