The 320, 325, 326 models do indeed do transmissive readings, but as you said
that's in densiometric reading (for now) status A and M. The CIE Lab
measurements are optional on the 300 series. Seems like the ICC Color are
BTO spectro's.
It's designed for the photographic end of machines keeping the film
chemistry in check for E6, C41, RA4. Densiometric numbers from 0-4.0 Dmax
is impressive as the other spectros are not so well endeared.
