I have the Tek Phaser 7700DN, it IS problematic. You're welcome to discuss
privately.

So, to come to the actual question: what's a hard disk on a/this laser

HD in the printer is for: 1. Secure prints, proof prints, and saved prints;
2. have additional fonts stored there so you don't download fonts to printer
when printing, thus faster. Most useful for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, ...;
3. For the 7700, stored printer driver, manual, utilities, samples, etc.

Thanks, Wim
How to do Color Calibration (so it's ON-TOPIC) to such devices? I'm having
problem getting accurate and vivid colors from it.
Thanks,
JM Shen
