Sorry, but I'm telling you I've gotten identical results on two Epson
1270's on OS 9 and X; as well as with a cheap Lexmark inkjet printer when
using the same settings. If color management on OS X was always doing
something, this would be impossible.

I'm sure there is a logical explanation for this disconnect. Hopefully we
can hear from one of the John's @ Apple on this.
