Because of its Applescriptability, I still use Corel PhotoPaint 8 for
batch operations. There are just two functions I use in PhotoPaint,
resizing and sharpening for screen display. Now that Photoshop 7 finally
appears to be scriptable, I'm hoping I can make the switch.
Which leads to the question: PhotoPaint has the option of 'adaptive
sharpening', which produces excellent results for small images. I use it
on everything that is meant for web or cd-rom display. I've never been
able to reproduce this quality with Photoshop, but would obviously like
to. Any ideas?
Thanks, Wim
