Then why does Photoshop not recognize the profile loaded in ColorSync but it
does in Displays?
IF one logs in as a certain user, doesn't any settings in either "control
panel" (is that what they are called in OSX?) depend on each user that logs
in? I'd have to hope and believe that's the case.
