We did send the photos saved as photoshop files in 16 bit and they opened
all the 8 bit tifs opened but not the 16bit tifs
The 16-bit aspect shouldn't be a problem unless they were in Lab. Did
you by any chance save them with ZIP compression?
(Photoshop 5.5 reads 16-bit RGB, Grayscale and CMYK TIFFs just fine,
but it doesn't understand some of the new compression options that
were introduced in 6...)
