Kodak Polychrome Graphics purchased Imation's Color Technologies business
unit effective January 1, 2002. The system that you are referring to is now
listed on the www.SWOP.org site as the Kodak Polychrome Graphics Matchprint
Professional Server Xerox DocuColor 12 Color Printer.

Subject: Xerox Docucolor 12/Imation printer

I have heard from a Xerox rep that the Xerox Docucolor 12/Imation
printer is now SWOP Certified. But if I go to the www.swop.org their
is no mention of it. Has anyone heard of this?

Is it possible to use this Printer Rip combo as a high-end proofer? I
have always thought that toner based printers are not stable enough
to trust as a contract proofers.

Is anyone using this setup with success as a proofer? If so what are
the limitations?

Thanks in advance,

Angus
