So when you print the document, does ID 2 rewrite the EPS *without* the
CSA? If so, it's the only application I've ever heard of that does this
(which doesn't mean anything really, other than I'd be a little
surprised). If ID 2 doesn't rewrite the EPS, and still sends the CSA to a
PostScript printer, that's more often than not a lethal workflow. That
some people get it to work doesn't surprise me.
Still, color managing raster EPS images is not as impressive as the
ablity to color manage vector - and that InDesign still lacks with EPS.
As far as I can tell, it's necessary to place native AI or PDF in order
to get vector artwork color managed in InDesign, and even then spot color
is not color managed.
