I'm not sure exactly what InDesign is doing. My take is that it is color
converting to your defined output profile using the CSA, and then rewriting
the data into the PS stream as a simple raster object...but I don't know
this for sure.
I would really like to see an application that could color manage vector,
including any library/spot colors. Since InDesing is using that AGM software
to basically RIP to screen, I would think that it would be able to
disassemble the vector EPS for further function (and it *is* doing something
with the preview it creates; if I go into super display mode, I can even see
individual flatness values being applied).
