profiling canvas

Is there anything special I need to be aware of when profiling an inkjet
printer and canvas cloth? Specifically, will the texture of the media
create any problems for the spectro? I'm using a Gretag/MacBeth SpectroScan
and I have a polarizing filter if called for.
