This is my first post to the list although I have been lurking for quite
some time now. I originally posted this question to the colortheory
mailing list but recieved no response so I thought I would try here.
I'm using Colorblind software to create printer profiles. I create my
profiles and then I have several test prints that I print afterwards to
see how the profile is working. I have a glossy media that I am profiling
that, after profiling, has some serious posterization in the highlights.
I was able to tweak the settings in Colorblind (black weight, black start,
gray gcr, color gcr) to get decent shadows with my profile but I just
can't seem to get the highlights nailed down. Any suggestions or
recommendations? Any suggested reading that I could do?
Also, FYI, I'm creating my profiles on a W2K machine. <ducks>
Thanks!
