This often comes down to the gamut mapping algorithm the profiling
package uses. Many common algorithms fix the hue and compromise
the lightness and/or saturation to map an out of gamut color
(and pure yellow is almost always out of gamut from one
set of colorants to another) to an in gamut color.
Those (rare) profiling packages that use a more flexible
(dare I say advanced ?) gamut mapping algorithm that allows
the hue to be compromised, can give a much purer looking
result.
