I also have the OptiCal hardware and software to profile monitors, and have used it on a
Powerbook G4 and an Apple 21" studio monitor. The profile I obtained for the Powerbook
is worse than no calibration, but the profile for the studio monitor looks OK. Does
anyone else have a problem with OptiCal and an LCD display? For reasons that I do not
understand, I think there is a problem with LCD calibration using OptiCal. I have not
gotten any help from the company.

I'm wondering if the problem is related to my my LCD monitor or possibly the

viewing environment in which I'm using Photoshop.
