Well Argyll is one of course, and others are described in the
various research articles on Gamut mapping, but obviously none
of these are commercial systems. At one point I had a look at
how a (popular well respected) profiling package was doing
its gamut mapping, and it seemed to be using one of the
simple "classic" algorithms. That was a couple of versions ago,
but if people are still reporting dirty yellows, I assume
that most profiling packages haven't changed substantially.

a less linear mapping as well ?
I haven't looked at their gamut mapping behaviour so I'm not sure,
but it is possible. (somewhere I've got a utility I hacked together
that plots the out of gamut clip vectors on the colorimetric tables
of an ICC profile - If I can find it again, I might have a look.)
There are other means of cleaning up the yellows,
some involving hand tweaking, or doing some sort of colorant
related transforms. Not all methods that result in cleaner
looking yellows will retain the color accuracy of in-gamut
colors though.
