Paul,
You can use custom profiles but they have to be built
on a PC version of the Best RIP. Unfortunately, the
Best RIP's running on Mac's do not allow you to do a
Base Linearisation which you would need to do before
custom profile building!!! Maybe one day this will be
possible.

The boxed profiles are excellent quality but what you
really have to choose is whether you like the papers
that Best have provided the profiles for.
If you do like the paper types, then you will like the
results from this RIP. It is that simple.
