Toshia-

Use the DTP41 connected to a Keyspan Twin Serial adapter. No need for an extra cable. AFAIK, I don't think that there is such thing as a "USB" cable for the DTP41? It would be nice. Ray Cheydleur?

Has anyone worked with the DTP41 on a newer mac that doesn't have serial
ports? XRite's website recommends an expensive cable (that you can't find in
stores) to go from 8 pin serial to USB. I went to a store tonight and got a
9 pin serial to USB (which will hook up with the DTP if I take the mac
adapter off the XRite cable). However, when I try to use this with either
Monaco profiler or Kodak Colorflow, they can't find the instrument. I
wondered if anyone else out there has struggled with the same situation.
